Life_lex starts with a population provided by a given matrix, with a named population from the Life Lexicon, or a random population from the Life Lexicon. It runs until a quit button is pressed, expanding the visible universe when necessary to encompass any expanding population and simulating an infinite universe and unbounded population. The Life Lexicon is downloaded from the Web and provides over 400 fascinating starting populations. |
