Backward/ forward sweep algorithm for three-phase load-flow analysis of radial distribution systems. In the backward sweep, Kirchhoff's Current Law and Kirchhoff's Voltage Law are used to calculate the upstream bus voltage of each line or a transformer branch. In the forward sweep, the voltage at each downstream bus is then updated by the real and imaginary components of the calculated bus voltage multiplying with the corresponding ratio.

Thank you for your code. I am confuse, it is for single phase not for three phase. Can you please provide code for three phase?

thanks you .. have you model optimial to reduce power loss by add generator to 33 buses in radial distribution system .. my email

if "central bus" means a slack bus it must be <=4 then you shoud be add this condition in the pgrme

What is central bus?

good

What does mean central bus in backward forward load flow algorithm?
In ieee 13 bus system which bus is the central bus?

I think it dosen't work properly because the program asks us enter central bus but in a 69 or 33 bus system we hve at least 2 or more central bus

what does mean central bus in backward forward load flow algorithm?
in ieee 9 bus system which buses are central bus?

Hi,i have confusion about central bus.which bus should i considered as a central bus? as specially in the case of large radial distribution system.? in case of 69 bus radial distribution test system, if i considered bus number 65, then which one will be the central bus? should i count central bus from slack bus (bus number 1) or from bus number 9?

Thank you for your file, the data included in this file is for single phase, how if I want to make this data for three phase? Do I need to modify in the program to run three phase system?
Thank you
