Animation of aircraft LQR pitch control system

Description

This app was developed as part of web-based control system tutorials available at: http://ctms.engin.umich.edu

The purpose of this app is to allow the user to view an animation of the aircraft pitch control system with the step response plot. This allows the user to see the correlation between the plot and the system's physical response.

The animation and the app are based on the Aircraft Pitch - State-Space Controller Design page of the tutorials: http://ctms.engin.umich.edu/CTMS/index.php?example=AircraftPitch§ion=ControlStateSpace

The use of apps is something new that doesn't work in MATLAB 2011. However, you can run the GUIs directly. Go to the following site for the files and directions on their use.

Ok, so I am using Matlab 2011. This is the reason why is not working. Is it possible to get somehow the files to make it work in Matlab 2011?

Hello again,

I documented about this .mlappinstall. I found what I have to do to make it work.
http://www.mathworks.com/help/matlab/ref/matlab.apputil.install.html

But this "matlab.apputil.install" is undefined for my matlab version. Is this an extra tool for which I have to pay?

Hello,

I am interested in your app. I downloaded it but I get only 2 files license.txt and Aircraft_Pitch_Control.mlappinstall. Is this normal? Because I can't run the application.
