Interactive GUI for drawing regions of interest (ROIs). Has a similar interface to ROIPOLY. However, the delineation of complex and irregular objects is supported by the livewire or intelligent scissors algorithm [1]: Instead of connection user-selected anchor points with straight lines, a minimum cost path is chosen. Low costs can be found along image gradients (potential object boundaries).
*** IMPORTANT NOTE ***: Make sure you run the mex compilation script "please_mex_me.m" once you downloaded the submission. Livewire will work without the mexed file, however (as you might imagine) with poor performance.
