Description

DICOM standard is used in medical imaging. This previewer gives a list of files from a selected directory. Header and image data of the selected file are displayed immediately. Sample images are available at: <http://www.mathworks.ch/matlabcentral/fileexchange/loadFile.do?objectId=2762> from Jeff Mather.

Hi, Can some one export this from r13 to lower version of matlab. I have matlab 6 r12 ad when i compile this program i get error for uicontrol.
The help will be appericated.

This is a nice and very useful piece of code that works well. I tried it not only with the downloadable MRI dataset (dicom_images.zip) but also with a commercial 3T Philips MRI dataset (1024x1024 pixels/slice) without problems. It also shows how to integrate a GUI.
This was a welcome improvement on the recent Digest article (Nov 2002): the example given of reading an MRI dataset doesn't work.
