Shunt Active Power Filter model based on 400volts 3 phase 3 wire system. Load is 3 phase full wave rectifier. THD reduced by SAPF to 4.45% from 30.56%.

For the second problem you have to be more specific about load, Vdc and coupling inductor.

These spikes or notches that you talking about can be eliminated by introducing a small inductance downstream the point of common coupling.

There are notches in the source currents.. any how can you eliminate it??? Moreover in my simulation model when i insert active filter source current becomes sinusoidal but its value increases from 200 A to 300 A...is there any solution of it???
