In MATLAB image processing toolbox, we have a function called , 'roifilt2' that can be applied to a region of interest of a 2D grayscale image. However, there is no such function that can be applied on 3D RGB images.
This function,'roifilt3',can be applied to a specific region of interest of a 3D image.
