Description

This function allows you to place vertical lines over a plot to mark off attributes of interest. It comes complete with a data labelling function that updates as you move the line over the plot. This is a great tool if you want to obtain information from a graph visually.

I can not get this function to work. It does not throw any errors but does not put vertical line on plot. I am sending the line below :

figure; plot(b(:,6),b(:,14)); h = data_marker(1);

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks for the useful function, but i have a question. I have 4 subplots in a figure and i want to move the markers synchronously.
Is it possible with small change?

Can this be used on a scatter plot or data (ie: non-continuous function)?

Enhancements. 1)You can lock lines in place on the graph 2)The mouse pointer changes appropriately when hovering over a line. This makes interaction a bit easier. 3)You can export the x-locations of the markers with a new context menu of the Axes.
