The three codes, Normal, LogNormal2 and LogNormal1 generate respectively Normal, LogNormal and LogNormal (Mass) distributions of particles, given Median and variance or (LogVariance). LOgNormal1 works with an xls support file ("lognorm.xls") which should be placed in the correct directory; it shows how to link MAtlab and Excel using the XlsWrite command. Three rows are outputted to lognorm.xls. An "original" logorm_orig.xls is also included; copying the three rows generated by LogNorm1.m in this file will perform the recalculation of the sample after Mass-Averaging.
