The modeling of basic DC-DC converters (buck, boost and buck-boost) using fundamentals of calculus and basic circuitry knowledge. Electrical terms are determined from the circuitry knowledge, such as Kirchoff's Current Law, Kirchoff's Voltage Law, Ohm's Law, Voltage Divider Rule, Current Divider Rule, etc.; and is simplified using calculus' derivative and integral. This is distinct of all the modeling methods, where the switching mode is generalized by the bilinear systems.
Note: Bilinear system is where the two switching modes are taken into account together; both ON and OFF.
