Description

This ZIP file contains 5 Simulink models that were used in the July 2004 MATLAB Digest article "Recommendations for Creating Accurate Linearized Models in Simulink". These models highlight several modeling methodologies that can cause problems with linearization. They are intended to be used with Simulink and the new product Simulink Control Design.

Required Products Control System Toolbox
Simulink
Simulink Control Design
MATLAB release MATLAB 7 (R14)

I have MATLAB Version 6.5.1 (R13) Service Pack 1 and can not see the files. What should I do then?

These files were created with R14 so you will not be able to view them if you have a previous version of MATLAB and Simulink. The MATLAB Digest article that uses these models will be published next week and contains pictures of the models. They are simple models that illustrate modeling techniques which can improve linearization of Simulink models.

a "2-point controller" is also missing...
The "Relay" block is useless, because it does NOT have controllable threshold levels.

To: massi kambis (mpirway@yahoo.de)
a "Integrator" block with external reset can help you.

I found the PWM example as really good and helpful for my needs. Very very good!
