Augmented Nested Array
This code presents a new sparse array geometry called augmented nested arrays (ANAs), which have
closed-form sensor locations, hole-free coarrays, and small mutual coupling ratio. ANAs are formed by splitting the dense ULA of nested array into left/right sub-arrays. ANAs have less mutual coupling than co-prime arrays, nested arrays, and the first few orders of super nested arrays.
This code should be of interest to researchers in the areas of array signal processing, DOA estimation, adaptive digital beamforming and multiple-input multiple-output radar system.
