Power system state estimation

A module to estimate the variables of a power system.

Description

This is a scaled down easy version of the state estimation module that is run in energy control centres. It has the following features:

(1) option to enter the weights for your measures
(2) an implementation of the weighted least square estimation

features missing:
(1) bad data recognition

I've simulated the program to the 14 bus system test, using the data by power flow results. However, the estimator's results aren't good. They don't agree with the power flow results.

- no documentation provided
- inline comments given have limited value
- no vectorisation. It looks like the algorithms have been copied directly from a C or Fortran file
- usage of globals while not needed.

Although the program itself works, the programming needs serious improvements. Hence my 2-star rating

it is very good, but i'm very happy to get the WLS method with Hypothesis Testing instead of Normalized Residuals, for my final year project.
