File Information
Description

Read scans from x-ray SPEC files. Merge different scans. Save scan data. Export to figures. Calculate true reflectivity by subtracting longitudinal diffuse scatterings from the measured reflectivity.

Unzip and add path 'xraylabtool' and its subfolders to Matlab search path. In matlab command window, type in 'specr' to start.

Updates
17 Nov 2004

Fixed normalization problem. And added some little convenient stuff.

03 Mar 2005

Simplify and fix errors in the codes of loading and refreshing spec scans

04 Jan 2006

Add 'monitor' function in order to update the current scan spontaneously.

24 Jan 2006

Add functions to do constant background subtraction. An example (pdf and spec files) is included.

04 Oct 2006

Include off-specular geometry correction. Improve some functions. See readme.txt for major updates.

19 Dec 2010

Lots of functions have been included, such as raw scan display, motor position display, curve derivative and smooth, scan erase mode (for superimposing scans), mouse positing tracking. Explore by yourself!
