This is a small practical example that illustrates the use of Matlab for performing the kinematic simulation of a robot arm. The example also makes use of Matlab's graphical capabilities.

The animation (mpeg1 format) shows a renderized robot manipulator arm with six degrees of freedom. The hand moves on a cylinder describing an spiral from bottom to top.
