Plain MATLAB version of the Simulink demo HARDSTOP.MDL.

File Information
Description

Consists of hard_main.m, hard_func.m, and hard_stop.m.

hard_main.m: Main calling function with two primary characteristics:(1) Sets 'events' in 'odeset' so events occur when velocity crosses zero OR when displacement hits a hard stop, (2) Calls the integration function each time such has to be restarted due to an event, (3) Accumulates history and plots results

hard_func.m: The dynamical system through an standard MATLAB function

hard_stop.m: Function that, through the 'odeset' directive, instructs hard_func.m to stop due to the ccurrence of an event
