Edge Detection of Color Images

Find edges of a color image.

Description

This program finds the edges of a color image by converting the original image to YCbCr color space. Basic edge detection technique used is canny.

I don't see how this uses color information at all. It seems as though it's just using the Y signal to do edge detection, which is really just a grayscale of the image, right?
