Become a cyber explorer and use Julia to navigate the Fractal world....

Interactively generate classic Julia and Mandlebrot sets in addition to many more exotic forms. For example, try using a 'Julia Function' of z.^z + cosh(z)

Extract the attached .zip file and make sure the directory 'Functions' and the .m file 'julia' are co-located. Run julia.m and start exploring!

Running Julia writes TIFF files into the current MATLAB directory. Very large images can be created with minimal fuss. (Julia automatically assembles large bitmaps in stages). So far I have managed to generate a 35 mega-pixel image which can be printed at poster size!
