09 Feb 2014 Customizable Heat Maps Visualize data as a heatmap with many customizable options. Author: Ameya Deoras

great function! very nice options.

small bug: on line 589,

iscellstr(textmat) should be iscell(textmat)

03 Sep 2012 robustreadcsv CSVREAD for files with varying number of cols. Author: Michael Robbins

Adding this code to the end of the function makes a variable for each column. The name is taken from the first (header) row

data = MM;
clear MM;
for i=1:size(data,2)
cmd = ['MM.' data{1,i} ' = data(2:end,' num2str(i) ');'];

17 Mar 2011 Personal pathdef for multi-user Matlab Access Simple script for multi-user Matlab Author: Claudio Gambelli

I think that the solution to Michael's problem is in line 6 of startup.m

if exist([persdir '\pathdef'],'file')

must be changed to

if exist([persdir '/pathdef'],'file')

for macs. Note the direction of the slash.

Also, for MATLAB R2010B running on mac OSX, I found that I had to go to my MATLAB install, do 'Show Package Contents', and under toolbox/local/ edit the pathdef.m file appropriately. The paths in that file seem to be added to all users automatically.

11 Nov 2010 SSH From Matlab (updated) + SFTP/SCP Run commands on a remote machine from a Matlab session, via a secure shell. Author: David Freedman

I am able to use SFTP functionality with password authentication, but not with public key authentication. Can some one confirm for me that this is indeed a limitation of the code, and not an error on my part? If so, are there plans to add this functionality?

Thanks for the great tool!
