01 Apr 2014 SeisLab 3.01 Release 10.0301 of a collection of functions for analysis/display of seismic and well-log data. Author: Eike Rietsch

Hi there, I was using Seislab and for no reason it starts giving me error even after I re-downloaded it. I am having with this particular function: s_log2reflectivity

after running presets.. I get this error:
Error using struct/moperation (line 37)
Operation "*" is not defined for these two arguments

Error in * (line 15)
ds=moperation(i1,i2,'*');

Error in l_curve (line 41)
beta = U'*b; beta2 = norm(b)^2 - norm(beta)^2;

Error in l_depth2time (line 194)
wlog=l_curve(wlog,param.action,mnem_out,temp,'ms',param.description);

Error in s_log2reflectivity (line 64)
wlog1=l_depth2time(wlog1,{'output',cm.twt});

if anyone has a solution for this, it will be extremely helpful. Please let me know what is wrong. I did not alter the original code. Thanks in advance.

09 Mar 2014 regtools Analysis and Solution of Discrete Ill-Posed Problems. Author: Per Christian Hansen

Very essential tools
I am trying the tikhonov function and getting errors...
suppose my Ax=b
A=matrix of 11375x3
b=vector of 11375x1
I calculated svd of A using svd(A,0)
assuming x_0 is zero
and insert lambda as [10,1,1e-2]
unfortunately..I keep getting an error that
Error in tikhonov (line 66)
if (nargin==6), omega = V\x_0; omega = omega(1:p); end

anyone having the same problem?...Thanks!

04 Mar 2014 Experimental (Semi-) Variogram calculate the isotropic and anisotropic experimental (semi-) variogram Author: Wolfgang Schwanghart

Fantastic code - just what I needed. However, I am trying to modify it a bit for cross-variogram. Can I do it this way: save the
lam = (y(iid(:,1))-y(iid(:,2)));
for two separate variable (say A and B) Combine=bsxfun(@times, lamA,lamB);
Combine_cross = accumarray([ixedge ixtheta],Combine,...
[21 7],fvar,nan);
Combine_cross(:,end)=Combine_cross(:,1);

Is this approach correct?
Thanks

07 Sep 2013 freezeColors / unfreezeColors Use multiple colormaps per figure! Version 2, now works for many types of objects, not only images. Author: John Iversen

I have a problem with freeze color..can someone please help. When I use it, the color of the plot takes the color from the subsequent plot

figure;subplot(3,1,1)
scatter(DiffPeP,DiffTWT_33_sh,40,DiffTWT_33_sh,'filled')
colorbar('peer',subplot(3,1,1));
set(gcf,'Colormap',mycmapTS)
caxis([-0.5 1]);
freezeColors(caxis)
cbfreeze;
cblabel('DiffTS','fontsize',10);

subplot(3,1,2)
scatter(DiffSo,DiffTWT_33_sh_F,40,DiffTWT_33_sh_F,'filled')
set(gcf,'Colormap',mycmap_s)
colorbar('peer',subplot(3,1,2));
caxis([-0.2 0])
freezeColors
cbfreeze;
cblabel('DiffTS','fontsize',10);

subplot(3,1,3)
scatter(DiffPeP,DiffSo,40,DiffTWT_33_sh_new,'filled')
axis([-2500 1000 -0.4 0.4])
colorbar('peer',subplot(3,1,3));
set(gcf,'Colormap',mycmapTS)
caxis([-0.5 1])
cblabel('DiffTS','fontsize',10);

Can someone please point out why is it not working? Thank you so much
