Thanks to Jon for bringing to my attention the class method limitation.

Note that SubFuns was written years before the new MATLAB class system was developed. Rather than just hack SubFuns for this case I'd rather do something elegant and robust but not immediately (other priorities). (That would be a good opportunity to address Telmo's case too.) Meanwhile, here's a workaround.

Note for users who get stuck by the IMVIEW error. That function was replaced by IMTOOL (years ago). In analyze_series8.m just replace all occurrences of "imview" with "imtool" (and save).

Nathan and others, thanks for all the feedback. Some users have been tripped up by the requirement that the input must be an intensity image. RGB color is not supported. I will update the function to for this at the beginning and stop immediately with a more helpful error message.

Does not work in all cases. Try rounding 3.55 to 1 decimal place and you get 3.5 instead of 3.6
