@Alexandre Laurin! Before Giving two stars , its better to contact or write a comment first here. The functions provided here as they are you can change it based on your own needs, changing the name of the function for example or whatever but it does what it says! I don't think two stars is a fair rating for a work provided to you for free !

@Govind, Good point. Well, I guess I added that part cause the whole Slope analysis idea in the original paper was not performing very nice and was not able to distinguish the T wave. I just added that extra part to handle the issue but its better to remove it. In my free time, I plan to enhance the code by adding the Hamilton algorithm peak detector that can increase the accuracy to some extent. will be come up soon.

@Marwin, Thanks for the feedback. You are right, there is no Q wave detection in there but I will add it to that as soon as I get some free time ;)

ok. Done now you can use this function as an internal function by muting the plots. Just set the last input 'gr' equal to 0 .

Hooman, great work and great code!
Could you help me with one question: which algorithm is better in your opinion--classic Pan and Tompkins or modified Hamilton-Tompkins approach?

Are you going to write the implementation in Matlab for Hamilton-Tompkins algorithm?

'MINPEAKDISTANCE' must be integer, otherwise we will get error:

Error using findpeaks>parse_inputs (line 77)
MinPeakDistance should be an integer greater than 0.

Error in findpeaks (line 43)
[X,Ph,Pd,Th,Np,Str,infIdx] = parse_inputs(X,varargin{:});

Error in pan_tompkin (line 233)
[pks,locs] = findpeaks(ecg_m,'MINPEAKDISTANCE',0.2*fs);

So you can use:
[pks,locs] = findpeaks(ecg_m,'MINPEAKDISTANCE',round(0.2*fs));
