If it's still of interest tp, bp, lp and rp are short for top/bottom/left/right percentage. They are used to specify the control points in the keystone transform as specified in e.g. "Computer Graphics Using OpenGL" by Francis Hill.
I don't understand what you mean by shifting the image in each direction...
