I'll concede that I possibly was too harsh for what is potentially a useful tool, but I will happily upgrade my review as appropriate. Until then, I can't use this tool on my system, nor even scan through the code to decide if it might have any value. I hope the author will correct the omission.

While John's review is a little harsh, I assume that leaving the source out was merely an oversight, since the author has made the CONDOR C++ code available in his thesis - I wouldn't want an author to feel discouraged from submission. John was kind enough to provide a link to the requirements so the author can see what is needed - I've been using this site every day for a couple of years and this is the first time I have heard of such a document.

Very disappointing. The author provides only a precompiled code. This means that only users on the target system/release can use this code, nor can other users even recompile the code for their own systems.
