- Personal Profile:
I see myself as somebody who develops market enabling technologies. This demands three skills:
1. Vision - to look at the gaps in the existing technology markets, and an intense imagination to visualise a solution to fill those gaps.
2. Courage - once the above has been achieved not to waiver in your course of action and to deal with roadblocks with "great vengeance and furious anger". These may include technical problems, part availability and logistical issues. Careful investigation and thought at the start of the project should minimise the blocks. The pace should be brutal, projects don't earn money - results do.
3. Humility - one must be able to pass the credit onto Engineering as it is they who do the hardest work in bringing the prototype to production.
