Actually, this is is exactly what it does, write a number or a string (not an array!) to a (registry) file with FPRINTF, then pick it up with Matlab's own WINQUERYREG. If there is no technical novelty involved, it would be nice if the author (a) explained when it could be useful (e.g. show how another application picks up a saved value - that's the goal, right?), and (b) commented use of his m-files. (Which could be renamed). Right now it's just a few screenshots - many irrelevant, insofar as we want to change registry values with Matlab, not Windows - not a white paper. I am looking forward to a revision.
