I have tested my algortihm with well known time series data (for example Lorenz) and i have found LLE for Lorenz data as 1.5013. I used <ln(d)> for the divergence value. Did you try the data with another code and find LLE as 1.5? You can send the values of your parameters and your data via e mail.

The aim is fitting a linear line from the divergence curve so the elements of tlinear vector correspond to x-axis of divergence curve(d parameter), as the result this vector musn't exceed d vector. You can look at polyfit command. And if you think about before giving 2 points for rating, i will be glad because i studied a lot and controlled over and over while writing this code and there isn't any big error.

1, are you sure that your codes are totally referred to that paper?
2, could your codes be used to process all kinds of data?

hello, am trying to calculate the lyapunov exponents of some meteorological data(daily averages of temp, rainfall etc)collected over 34yrs. i have 365 data points in a yr, is that sufficient? my sample interval is 1day(24hrs) can this work? what do i do? pls reply here and via my emai: etikyaa@fudutsinma.edu.ng.
