Personal Profile:

Paul Lambrechts joined The MathWorks in July 2004 as a senior application engineer. He received the M.Sc. degree in Mechanical Engineering from Delft University of Technology in The Netherlands in 1987, followed by the Ph.D. degree from the same university in 1994 on the subject of the application of robust control theory concepts to mechanical servo systems. His professional carreer started in 1994 as a research engineer at the Flight Mechanics Department of the Dutch National Aerospace Laboratory NLR. From 1996 to 1999 he worked as a researcher at Corus Steel Research and Development. From 1999 to 2002 he worked as a system engineer at the Mechatronic Systems Development department of ASML. Finally, before joining The MathWorks, he worked as an assistant professor (post doc.) at Eindhoven University of Technology.
