22 May 2014 Simulink Support Package for Arduino Uno Hardware (R2012a) Simulink block library for creating standalone applications for the Arduino® Uno platform Author: MathWorks Simulink Team

@ Gerald - from your message I'm guessing you just downloaded, unzipped, and then opened up some model library. If that is correct, then some installation steps didn't happen... please note the instructions in this submission (this submission and instructions valid for 12a)

To install support for Arduino Uno, type "targetinstaller" in the MATLAB Command Window.
In the Target Installer that opens, do one of the following:
• If you have not downloaded the support package, choose "Internet". Target Installer automatically downloads a support package and installs it.
• If you have already downloaded the support package, choose "Folder". Then specify the location of this support package. Target Installer installs this support package.

If you have further troubles - please feel free to contact Technical Support and we can get you up and running.

10 Mar 2014 Simulink Support Package for Samsung Galaxy Android Devices Program your Samsung Galaxy Android device using Simulink Author: MathWorks Simulink Team

Hello Hans,

We believe it will work on any Samsung Galaxy Android device, assuming they are running Android 4.3 or 4.4.

However, we have only done full testing on the Galaxy S4 and Tab 2 10.1.

Note: It is possible that this Support Package will also work on non-Samsung Android devices - I had it running on my Google Nexus 7 (2013) tablet. My Nexus 7 test model only used the screen and accelerometer; so I cant confirm if all the IO will work for any particular device.

Please download and try the Support Package - and let us know if you were successful.

Thanks,
-Brian

20 Sep 2014 Simulink Support Package for Arduino Hardware Student-priced microcontroller board Author: MathWorks Simulink Team Sina

Hi. I am trying to use this package with an Arduino Uno board that's connected to a motor driver to drive a motor to my desired position and speed (later with implementing a PID controller).
I was wondering how I can use this package with the motor real time. Or how I can design the PID controller in Simulink for this application.
Thank you.

@sho: Thanks for your feedback. We are definitely looking into adding support for the DAC channels in a future update.

Thank you for this great support package.

Will we see support for the dacs and general resolution settings for the analog in and outputs in the future?

Or if i can do these settings manually, pls tell me how, i really would like to use the 12 bit analog inputs to measure some temperature.

best regards and continue your great work :)

The package was successfully installed on windows 7. All the examples work for both Galaxy S4 and Nexus 5 phones. In case of Nexus 5 you need to select 'Galaxy Note' in the 'targetupdater' wizard.
