I've just submitted java.io based version, which shouldn't suffer from described limitations. (See "Disk Usage" link in "Acknowledgements" section above). Both functions are compatible regarding input and output arguments.
there is an error in open connection. Has anybody had this problem ?

I have a quick question, if I have a figure with one tab panel (containing 5 or so tabs), how do I save that figure so that when I open it from the .fig file, all the tabs remain functional. Currently if I save the figure, when I reopen it, only the tab that I was on when I saved is still functional and the others are not responsive. Thanks!
I tested your code on an ip camera to receive streaming on matlab, but it does not work?!
I do not know where the problem,
at first it gave me an error at line 66 in function "fopen" and there I change the entry "localhost" with the ip address of the camera with a port "8001" but it gave neither error nor result!
knowing that the camera is normally secured by password, what is the solution in your opinion?
