10 Dec 2008	DEVICE CONTROL USING SPEECH Device are controlled with speech using parallel port. Author: ANKIT MEHTA	Hey. Nice project. I am currently working on a project involving HMM's for speech recognition. i have converted the wave file into cepstral feature vectors. my question is, wat are the states and symbols associated with the HMM in speech recognition. also, is there a way to make a HMM without knowing the transition and emission probabilities? I request a speedy response from all. thank you
