Does anyone have any ideal image or know how to get one of them for all the other images to calculate the Earth Mover's Distance with it to produce an absolute EMD value for each of them?

The equality constraints are all redundant to each other, which can lead to unnecessary memory issues for larger data sets. The lines:

Aeq = ones(m + n, m * n);
beq = ones(m + n, 1) * min(sum(W1), sum(W2));

should be replaced with:

Aeq = ones(1, m * n);
beq = min(sum(W1), sum(W2));

I would also suggest using sparse coefficient matrices (A, A1, A2) to limit memory usage in large problem instances.

Hi,
May I ask for suggestion in case that the error "Exiting: cannot converge because the primal residual, dual residual,or upper-bound feasibility is NaN" happens please?
I assume it comes from linprog part and is it correct to interpret that a valid 'fval' cannot be found in emd() since it may be NaN.
