Unfortunately I could not get Data Cursor to find the value of a plot at a given point. I tried using Ben's modifications in conjunction with suggestions from http://www.mathworks.com/support/solutions/en/data/1-31Q3HK/?solution=1-31Q3HK to no avail. Does anyone have a workable solution?
