28 Feb 2013 gridLegend - a multi column format for legends Plot a multicolumn format legend. Author: Adrian Cherry

The script fails for my patch plots completely:

Index exceeds matrix dimensions.

Error in gridLegend (line 206)
set(object_h(linenum), 'ydata', [height-position*sheight height-position*sheight]);

Error in testplot (line 204)
legHdl = gridLegend(hplot,2,ltext)

with hplot and ltext both of size 1x6

05 Jul 2012 EzyFit 2.42 A free curve fitting toolbox for Matlab Author: Frederic Moisy

With every fit, that contains more than 4 search parameters I get the result

Fit: error during the fminsearch procedure

Even if I created the fitparameters using the curve fitting tool, so that the initial parameters are highly optimized.

08 May 2012 Recursive directory listing Directory listing with a difference, supports directory wildcards. Author: Gus Brown

I can only get files in some cases.

For example
ListOfFiles = rdir([BaseDir 'Ausleuchtung\a\' '*\**\*_ORG.tif'])

finds nothing, whereas the parent folder

ListOfFiles = rdir([BaseDir 'Ausleuchtung\' '*\**\*_ORG.tif'])

find everyting in folder \a\.

This currently makes the rdir script mostly unusable for me.

11 Feb 2012 addaxis Add multiple y-axes to plots. zoomable with zoom modification. Author: Harry Lee

I want to use this tool because plotyy does not provide the option to show the axis ticks onl on one side.

But the second axis on the right side is separated from the actual plot area which looks wrong. And there are not handles, so I have no clue how to modify the style.
And there is no documentation neither in the readme nor in the files so that I can only guess what I have to call.

Any help is welcome to get around all the plotyy problem.

I was linked here from this question:

11 Jan 2011 gridLegend - a multi column format for legends Plot a multicolumn format legend. Author: Adrian Cherry

The legend gets complete messed up once I apply any property of the fonts

hLegend = gridLegend(hplot,5,{legendStr}, 'FontSize' , FontSize - 2);

here the strings are outside of the legend box all written on top of each other, and the markers are not visible.

If this would work, I would apply 5 stars!

17 Mar 2014 latexfigure This package enables the use of all fonts that are supported by LaTeX in a figure. Author: Matthias Pospiech Peter

It works now and it looks nice. '$$f_u$$' does not work, but '$f_u$' works.

it doesn't work. All figures were processed flawlessly by mlf2pdf, but with this routine, whatever i do, i get this :

No delimiter in string, inputString is returned
Cell contents reference from a non-cell array object.

Error in latexfigure/createLaTeXFile (line 178)
fprintf(fid,'%s\n',split{i}); % Suplementary LaTeX Code

Error in latexfigure (line 100)

25 Jun 2013 latexfigure This package enables the use of all fonts that are supported by LaTeX in a figure. Author: Matthias Pospiech Jan

I have used the script excessively and it has produced a lot of nice looking figures. But I have one issue with it.

I define a size for the legend using a four element vector for the setting of the ‘location’ but MATLAB is widening the legend so that the entry for the legend fits. When I use for the example of a revolution speed
$n = 500/\textrm{min}$
I get a very wide legend with a big white edge after latexfigure converts the term to n = 500/min.

Does somebody know a way/workaround to narrow down the legend?
