@Gabi, the value of parameters depend on the image. As a rule of thumb, value of sigma varies from 1 to 2 and thresh from 0.2 to 0.5. Conceptually maxrad is the approx radius of the eye u want to detect.

Generally u need to change sigma or threshold parameters. The values change from image to image. Usually, i try with 0.1 to 0.5 for thresh and 1 to 3 for sigma.
