Text books leave much to be desired regarding visualization of wave propagation since they are not animated. The package has a sequence of 6 models that have both a transient pulse excitation as well as a sine wave excitation. The model sequence starts with a one transmission line version that has user definable source and load impedance and evolves to a three line model using an exponentially tapered matching section.
<br />Using these models, the student can gain an intuitive understanding of transmission, reflection, superposition, impedance matching, Standing Wave Ratio, and many other wave phenomenons. </p>

It contains a half-aircraft network consisting of one generator, an AC network, a Transformer Rectifier Unit connecting to a DC network. The model can be used to determine power requirements, analyze system interactions, and perform harmonic analysis. Running the model in phasor mode enables entire flight cycles to be tested. Models and MATLAB code are provided that show how to refine system requirements, estimate parameters based on measured data, distribute simulations using parallel computing, and automatically generating reports.</p>
