07 Jun 2009 LDPC matrix A matlab code written for generating LDPC matrix having memory M and periode T = M-1 Author: Zahoor Xiao, Yang

1. Your code has many girth-4, which means that the decoder of your codes can not provide correct solutions very fast. I is well known that good LDPC codes should have no girth-4 firstly.
2. I don't know why you can have such low level error in your code design.

20 Apr 2009 Flexible construction of girth-six QC-LDPC Codes constructs girth-six QC-LDPC codes given a row-weight,column-weight, sub-matrix size. Author: Gabofetswe Malema Xiao, Yang

Please check the BER of your codes: when j=4, k=8, m=57, the BER is very poor though it has no girth-4. Why?

30 Mar 2009 Alternative good LDPC codes for DVB-S2 The program can produce the parity check matrix of DVB-S2 with the size 5400*2700. Author: Yang Xiao Xiao, Yang

In our recent research for LDPC code design, we found that the bidiagnal matrix in parity check matrix will degrade the BER of the desired codes, including shortten DVB-S2 codes. The main reason is the bidiagnal matrix leads lower weight codes in code set. Our this disclosed program provides a spetial case that can avoid the problem. However, we revised the original code design of DVB-S2. From the BER of our codes, we can see that it is unnecessary for casecaded BCH codes for DVB-S2 channel coding, which makes the implementation of DVB-S2 channel coding to be complex and high cost.
