- PY 405 and PY 406: Electromagnetic Fields and Waves I and II (Undergraduate 4th year)
Together, these two courses provide an introduction to the principles of classical electromagnetism. Both courses include lecture, discussion, and laboratory components, which involve mainly computational exercises, using MATLAB. Course topics include: Vector analysis, Gauss's law, electric field intensity, energy and potential, Poisson's and Laplace's equations, Maxwell's equations, and electromagnetic waves.
