Modeling, Analysis, Design, and Control of Stochastic Systems

This introductory-level text is suited for a junior or senior level undergraduate course on stochastic models. It employs a large number of examples to teach how to build stochastic models of real-life systems, how to analyze these models to predict their performance, and how to use the analysis to design and control the systems. The book includes a review of the relevant topics in probability theory, and discusses important classes of stochastic models.
