Future releases will incorporate the analysis of EEG and MEG.

The current version is SPM8 and was released in April 2009. This provides a major update to the SPM software, containing substantial theoretical, algorithmic, structural and interface enhancements over previous versions.

SPM8 uses the NIfTI-1 file format.
