>> daqregister('nidaq')
??? Error using ==> daqregister
Error using ==> daqregister
Unable to load driver C:\MATLAB7\toolbox\daq\daq\private\mwnidaq.dll
A dynamic
link library (DLL) initialization routine failed.

All I have thought to try was closing the NI device detector and
giving full access rights to the 'private' folder, neither of which
worked. My DAQ is the BNC-2110 and I am using Matlab Vers. 7. My data
acquisition toolbox is up to date.

Meant to say my DAQ is a PCI-6251.

I had the same problem. I wasn't the Admin of the system. In my case
I was running a server version. I begged the Admin to find this
*.dll and give my account full acces to it. Reading permission is
likely to be not enough.

Support for NIDAQmx was first introduced as a web release for R14SP3. The
first complete release it appeared in was R2006a. Before that, Data
Acquisition Toolbox only supported Traditional NIDAQ. I'd suggest using the
latest version (R2007a) to get the best results.

All the best,

You can use Data Acquisition Toolbox, Instrument Control Toolbox, Image
Acquisition Toolbox, and OPC Toolbox to connect your hardware directly to
the analytical power of MATLAB and Simulink. See
