virtual PC and data acquisition toolbox

Is it possible to run the data acquisition toolbox of MATLAB on a
virtual pc on an intel Mac with MAc OS 10 as the main operating
system?
the data acquisition toolbox is only supported by windows so I was
wonderign if windows within the mac would still be OK?
(as you can tell I'm not a fan of pc's...)
Has anyone tried this?

Hi,

We have had reports of Data Acquisition Toolbox users successfully using
boot camp to use USB based devices from a Intel Mac running Windows.
Really, it's more dependant on wether the hardware works. Try running the
vendors test tool in the set up, and see if you can acquire at all. If you
can, I think you've got a reasonable chance.

I'd be very interested in your experience. Please post all the set up
details when you try it.

Where can I find the vendors test tool? With teh hardware do you mean
the soundcard?

Ah, I assumed you were using a USB device, such as one from Measurement
Computing. I can't offer much insight as to whether the soundcard would be
emulated successfully. You'll need to try it and see.
