I just wanted to express my thanks to the people/person working on the newsreader. I hope I am not speaking too soon, but you have got the forum back into a usable form. For that I am grateful, and appreciate your effort.

Thanks again
Thought I'd check to see...

Glad for those who use the TMW portal, but the nntp line length issue
doesn't appear to be yet resolved -- had to manually rewrap both of
these postings to respond via an external to TMW client...

Oh well it looks like I had spoken too soon.

What puzzles me is why this guy thinks a load of boffins with their heads buried in a computer monitor doing loads of mind blowing mathematics would really want running shoes. Methinks our chinese friend - if thats where he comes from - hasn't done very much market research. He would be much better off targetting running clubs and sports facilities. Stoopid or what? Probably making a completely unwarranted generalization here, but that is very unusual for someone of his ethnicity; still i guess someone has to be a tail end charlie on the normal distribution of IQ.

Still back to some wavelets having vented my spleen.
We continue to work on this. The spam level is much lower

I know you're only venting, but couldn't help myself... :)

I suspect most if not all of this is done by 'bots, anyway, and probably
simply looking for/keeping track of usenet groups w/ higher traffic
totals, not subject matter...

As for origin/location, I guess it might show he's _not_ from Lake
Woebegone... :)
