alright this is helpful, but the problem is i don't know
what the LAPACK is and what those routines in it are.
Perhaps someone could help me find the documentation of those?

Hi, I'm writing a program in Java which deals with matrices
and was wondering what algorithm/method MatLab uses for
computing eigenvalues of a matrix?
