Labeling an image

Hey guys
I have a classified image and I would like to automatically
label each class with a different colour. How can I do it?
I have tried "newgrid = encodem(Z,seedmat)" but can not
really figure out how to set the values of seedmat and am
not really sure if thats the appropriate function.
