      <description>A publication I am working on requires that all figures be of a certain size&lt;br&gt;
(say 8 cm wide). How do I specify this in my output ?&lt;br&gt;
&lt;br&gt;
I have recently found a script named savefig.m on Matlab's central file&lt;br&gt;
exchange. Very handy utility for producing eps files with tight bounding&lt;br&gt;
boxes etc. but how does one specify the physical size of the image ?</description>

Set the PaperPosition and PaperUnits property of the figure&lt;br&gt;
&lt;br&gt;
My File Exchange fillPage submission helps set the&lt;br&gt;
appropriate properties and allows you to specify the page&lt;br&gt;
size to use (so you can tell it the size is what the&lt;br&gt;
