Incorrect .pdf/.ps output

Hi there,

I'm having problems with the output of MATLAB when I print
directly to a .pdf or .ps file. The output is just
completely off from the figure. Printing it directly to a
printer is fine, but using:

print(myFigure, '-dpdf', myFilename);

results in a single line being drawn at a weird angle across
the page. I'm using MATLAB R12.1. Any ideas why this may be
incorrect? If Ghostscript is the problem, is there a way for
me to update it so the output works correctly?
