I am doing a GUI project requires user input step by step. I would like to remind the user which data is done. I am thinking to check the checkbox automatically according to the step. May I know is that possible doing so using MATLAB? If yes, how to do it? Thanks!

At the relevant step use

set(handles.checkbox1,'Value',1)

find the tag of each checkbox from the property inspector.

Hi Karen.

set(handles.checkbox1,'Value',1);

...places a tick in the box. To find out more things like this, right click on the object in GUIDE than look at the property inspector. The best way of learning is to look down the list of properties, find likely looking ones, and mess about with them! There are always the help pages to describe what particular properties do...
