there is no generic solution; however, typically, these devices come with a dll (or another type of api), which you might be able to interface in ML...

there should be a generic solution as Twain is an industry standard. there are many, many more Twain devices than any other type.

most Twain devices do NOT come with a dll, they are "Plug and Play".

the only 'generic' driver that actually seems to work most of the time without bombing, crashing and works with Photoshop is one by Basler, Pylon Twain Driver.

Anyone have any code that already integrates ICE functions or other imaging routines into Twain?
