cell array

hi.. I have a problem to add a cell.. for example, i have

[493x1 double]------>A
[493x1 double]------>B
[493x1 double]------>C

what i want to do is to add 1st value in A, B and C. then, add 2nd
value in A, B and C. so that, the output will be only one array
contain [493x1 double].

before this i've try sum(cat(1,D{:})).. but it doesn't work..

hopefully you can share your idea with me..
